Hello! I’m Jaime, a passionate musician from Monterrey, Mexico, with a deep love for teaching and sharing the joy of music.
My musical journey began at 14 when I took a guitar class at my middle school. By 19, my passion expanded to include music production and piano, allowing me to start creating my own music. These two passions opened doors for me, and I was honored to be accepted into Berklee College of Music, where I refined my skills even further.
At Berklee, I had the privilege of learning from world-renowned mentors like Grammy-winning producer Justin Rhodes, Greg Ogan (who worked with artists such as Ariana Grande, Brandy, and Sean Kingston), and Latin Grammy-winning classical guitarist Berta Rojas. Their guidance, combined with my self-driven dedication, helped me develop a broad knowledge of different musical styles and techniques.
Since college, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to teach music production to elementary school students, sparking creativity and excitement in young learners. I’ve also provided private lessons in guitar and piano, working with students of all ages and skill levels to help them achieve their musical goals.
My priority as a music teacher is to make learning fun and rewarding. I believe music should be a source of relaxation, joy, and self-expression—not stress. That’s why my teaching style is free from rigid tests and strict rules. Instead, I welcome mistakes as essential stepping stones for growth and learning.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to help you explore your creativity, build confidence, and most importantly, enjoy the process of making music. Let’s make music together!
