Hi!

My name is Persephone and I am from Oakland, California, where I studied vocal music for 7 years and had the privilege of building an extensive performance resume.

I have had the pleasure of sharing stages with world renowned artists such as Michael Franti, Ryan Tedder (who may have written some of your favorite pop songs), the 17-time grammy-winner, Dave Grohl, the Oakland Symphony and Jazz Mafia. I have opened for Janelle Monae and The Roots and have worked as a backup session singer for Oakland’s very own, Goapele and Kehlani.

the past few years I have spent studying at Berklee College of Music where I received a Bachelor of Music for Contemporary Writing and Production.

I am passionate about access to arts education, self-exploration and expression through writing and music.
